To know more about who they are please refer to ~ http://thestaronline.com/news/story.asp?file=/2011/9/2/nation/9412080&sec=nation

They were so happy during dinner.

Ambient of the buffer lounge. Simple and clean look, don't you feel appetite?
Clockwise : Prawn Bisque, Shark's Fin Soup (Never try this cause i anti Shark's Fin), Nasi Briyan and Deep Fried Bacon Roll Stuffed With Prawn Mousse.

Clockwise : Deep Fried Bacon Roll Stuffed With Prawn Mousse, Beef Ribs "Uncle Style", Stir Fired Mussels "Kong Po", Steam Fish With Superior sauce. Ops, Bacon roll stuffed picture i put 2 times. Guess what it taste so GOOD. As for the beef ribs, it is abit hard to my liking.

Clockwise : Wok Fired Prawn "Kam Hiong Sauce", Butter Vegetable, Cheese Gratinated Oyster With Smoked Chicken and Grilled Lamb and Scallop Kabobs. The lamb on the Kabobs is on the hard side and i wish the scallop to be bigger :)

Clockwise : Mashed Polenta, Creamy Lobster Thermidor, Sayur Masak Kunyit and Ayam Masak Percik. I love the Lobster dish most cause of the fragrant in the sauce.

Clockwise : Lamb Tandoori, Fruit, Bread Pudding and Vanilla sauce that come along. The dessert is SUPER good, especially the Vanilla sauce. Guess what they are using REAL VANILLA POD. In the market, we use to the fate vanilla essence and only litter people know how is the real Vanilla is. FYI, Vanilla Pod is the world 2nd most expensive species.

Clockwise : Petit Four, Fruit Jelly and dessert.

Clockwise : Dessert, Beef Wellington, Cold Dish Bar and Salad Bar Dish. The best dish in the buffet is Beef Wellington. It is SUPER DUPER GOOD. Is a MUST TRY dish, although it is medium raw but it is so tender and juicy. Write about it make me drill.

Another GREAT place in Penang ~ LA FRANCE CAFE & RESTAURANT

It always been my favorite hawker stall in Northern Beach Cafe. Price, food quality and service make this hawker France food a hit beside the beach kopitiam. Moreover it is serve by ang mou :)

Finally they have move to a dream restaurant set up behind the Northern Hotel. The boss is a France guy living just not far from Germany, so food serve have a touch of German. The lady boss is a local, so they have no problem communicating with the local while they selling in Northern Beach Cafe. They had spend more then 6 month to setup their dream restaurant. It is cozy, nice and relaxing environment cafe. I was there when they first day of their opening.

Very cozy style cafe setup, moreover the neighbor next door have a clean garden. Give their an A+ for maintaining a good environment :)

How you find the ambient?

Is a MUST GO new cafe in town.

Night time they on all their special ordered light, make the whole place stand up.

Picture hand during the first day but some of them had been replace.

Picture hang on the wall.

Croques Monsieur (Oven baked Ciabatta serve during lunch time ONLY) – Croc’ Ham & Cheese (Pork Ham – RM9.80). Love the bread as it is moist and taste SUPER GOOD.

Croissant Poulet (Yoghurt Chicken – RM10.90). It is one of the best thing i ever eaten. It is a MUST TRY dish.

I love the potato salad that come along with the dish. Simple and taste good.

Aglio Olio with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (RM9.00). A simple dish which look easy but in fact to get this dish right is another thing. The dish contain dried chili, cheese, Extra virgin olive oil, olive, slices of garlic, dash of paper and pasta.

Schnitzel (Grilled Chicken Cutlet – RM14.90). The chicken grilled with pork ham which you can hardly find anywhere in Penang.

Follow by the dessert, Crepe Compote (Apple & Banana – RM6.80) It taste exactly the same when they were in their old place.

The citron (Hot Lemon Tea)

Espresso. This cup of Espresso was the joke of the day for us. As my friend use to drink our 3 in 1 pack of Espresso so he though Espresso is a normal full cup of coffee. When he ordered i did ask him a few times, you sure you want this? He replied sure i always drink this, why not. So until the drink put in front of him, he like who ordered this? We laugh out loud non stop. For him, he had a hard time finishing this tiny cup :)

Kronenbourg 1664 (RM16.90). They ever serve their proud beverage direct from French.

The overall meal is very good, fill with laughter. Best part of all is it is really a great place to chill out with friends. The food serve are GREAT but it is too little for our Asian stomach. So if you planning to pay them a visit make sure you go for tea break or supper.
