I always been a fan of Starbucks and not kopibean. My favourite combo from Starbucks will be Banana Chocolate Chip muffin and hot Green Tea latte. What the Heck is However-You-Want-It-Frappuccino that Startbucks has been promoting? Lucky I was invited to the Frappuccino School to understand what is going on :). Our headmaster is Mr Salleharon and lecturer is Miss Yee Lin and Mr Akmal.

Frappuccino class start at 11am, 27 July 2001 at Starbucks Egate.
Followed by the Miss Yee Lin, demonstrating us how to make a good cup of Extra Coffee Mocha Frappuccino. 1- Add 3 full pumps of Frappuccino Roast to cup and pour milk to the lower line on cup. 2- Empty all the of the cup's contents into blender pitcher. 3- Add 2 full pumps of mocha sauce to blender pitcher. 4- Add a level scoop ice with the appropriate size with volumetric ice scoop and pour directly into the blender pitcher. After that pump in 2 full pump of coffee Frappuccino Base into the blender pitcher. 5- Blend the beverage by pressing button number 1 to start blender. 6- Pour out the ready beverage to cup that was marked. 7- Shake the bottle 3 times before topping the beverage with whipped cream. 8- Place domed lid on cup and present to customer with a smiley face :) |
Mr Salleharon also explain the hassle might happen if the barista careless. They might create a "snow house" at the counter if they accidentally open the can of the whipping cream or spill of beverage if they never close the blender properly. |

Other interesting photo taken during the press. 1- Cream base is a type of syrup that are used to create thick and smooth texture or else the beverage will be very plain. 2- Button 1 is a typical blend. When you ask for double blend mean the barista will press twice button 1. FYI, it will be very watery as the ice melted too fast. 3- This is the secret recipe for Extra Coffee Mocha Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and Soy Green Tea Cream Frappuccino® . 4- There are 3 type of syrup used, they are Vanilla, caramel and hazelnut. |
After everything, we were invited for lunch. This is where all you can order lunch. Since i always eat the muffin so i ask the barista for recommendation. They recommend me Raisin Cream Cheese, RM4.80 and Tuna Melt, RM12.90. Another one is Shepherd's Pie, RM7.50. Picture shown 1- Shepherd's Pie, the filling taste so good. 2- Raisin Cream Cheese, cheese melt must serve hot. Another Tuna melt is super good but i kind of forget to take the picture of it before i finish :) |
