Clockwise: 1- Radish Chicken Soup, a clear soup to start our meal. 2- Stir Fried Snake Beans with Beef Bisket Slices in Shrimp Paste, I love this dish very much. As the bean is cooked and still maintain the crunchiness of the bean. 3- Crispy Snapper Fillet, it is like tandoori fish fillet. 4- Braised Moi Choi Duck Breast, Is one of the dish that surprise my day. Although it is small but it taste good. Some complain on the Moi Choi overpower the duck breast but not to me.

Clockwise: 1- Stewed Baby Chinese Cabbage with enoki mushrooms, love the sauce to be eaten with rice. Simple dish always is the hardest dish to capture a man stomach but this did. Love the idea of putting in wolf-berry, when you bite the wolf-berry it explode in your mouth. 3-  Hunan Style Beef Cubes, beef is tender melt in mouth. What else you want a good beef dish to be? 4- Stewed Bean Curd, notice the fish roll on top of the dish? It add in more flavor and texture to this very dish.

Left to right: 1- Jin Dou Chicken, very appetite dish for the day. 2- Either 1 choice fried rice or steam rice.

Video during the Celebrity Chef Chen Hong Press Conference

Speech by Celebrity Chef Chen Hong during the Press Conference.

I was so stage fright while MC-ing for the Taiwanese Celebrity Chef Chen Hong press conference. I was so blur because i was preparing the next presentation scrip and Celebrity Chef Chen Hong suddenly ask me to translate what he just mentioned the last 5 minute. I was in shock actually but i tried my very best liau :)

Anyway this is a great opportunity for me learn. Moreover Celebrity Chef Chen Hong had taken many of my 1st time:
~ 1st time Chinese MC in front of the press.
~ 1st time translate Chinese into English in the press.

After this i hope i able to manage the fear at the stage. A very great thing is that Celebrity Chef Chen Hong praise me even i never did a great job. It is so comforting when he praise me. It is not because the praise is the way he handle me. It proven that his EQ is extremely high.

Thank you Criz Lai from Crizfood.com for the video :)

After Celebrity Chef Chen Hong Press Conference

After the Celebrity Chef Chen Hong Press Conference, we had a rest as the day before we had only around 4 hours of sleep. After a refreshing break, we started the video shooting at Sesame & Soy at G Hotel.

Chef Park Tae Yeong is one of the main character in the video shooting.

SEE! this is the real deal of video shooting.

Chef Vincent Lee (G Hotel Head Chef), Celebrity Chef Chen Hong and Chef Billy Ng Yih Lee (runner-up of 8TV’s Hot Chef Season One)

Celebrity Chef Chen Hong is signing his autograph for the best Food outlet sticker.

Chef Vincent was not used to all the "highlight" we beamed at him :)
He is a terrific Chef, had won a lot of trophy from a lot of international competitions. He is now the head chef for G Hotel, you can taste his cooking at Sesame & Soy. He told me his specialty is fusion food. So if you're looking for Fusion Fine Dinning in Penang, look for Chef Vincent Lee at Sesame & Soy at G Hotel.

All the crew behind scene, from left meow (Professional stylish), me (Foodtok founder), KC (Employee of the month V.I.A. PA for  Food Digest Managing Editor) and Sarah (Our beautiful PR). We have to stay silent during the shooting.

Me and Khairul (PA for Editorial food digest) showing serious face while working :)

Leftover food from the shoot.  the sauce tasted extremely good, next round when i visit Sesame & Soy, hopefully it is not left over liau :)

Left over dish from the shoot 2 :) We only get to try some of the taste. It was really GOOD.
