A relaxing meal at the hidden gem in the island, Tanjung Bunga Beach Hotel.

Tanjung Bunga Beach Hotel is really a hidden gem in Penang Island. It is an old hotel with great potential. It is the only hotel that cab be really as called Hotel by the sea. This is the only hotel built so close to the sea. You can see the marvelous sea view or listen to the music of the sea breeze from the bed of the hotel room.

I admit this is my first visit to the lovely place. I was so amused by the inner view of the hotel. It is so relaxing and comfortable. The hotel reminds me of Pulau Langkawi.

Inside the hidden gem there is a restaurant, named SHORES. Let me bring you through the place.

This restaurant is full of unique decoration, don't they?

They even have an open kitchen. Cozy dinning area just by the beach. You can actually see the sea from the table.
Next is food time, lets welcome Chef Owen for demonstrating how to prepare this very delicious Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich- chicken slice and cheese Serve with French Fries and salad.

The making of Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich-chicken slice and cheese.

After preparation, the sandwich is put onto a hot plate at more than 230 degree Celsius to melt the cheese and caramelized the sandwich.

Finally Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich- chicken slice and cheese Serve with French Fries and salad  on the plate. Have it by the beach with a cup of kopi or tea will be wonderful, don't you think? The ambient will alter the mood of the dinner.

Imagine eating a delicious piece of sandwich, a cup of hot coffee, listening to the sea breeze, soft warm sun light petting your face. You can easily leave behind all the hectic, noisy and stressful city life. Ops, suddenly i though i am writing a relaxing trip at Pulau Langkawi :) Yeah you can have this in PENANG!!!

The best part of it is that, it is not far from the town area nor far top to the end of Batu Ferringhi.

The cheese is still melting but not as melt as it supposed to be cause i took too long shooting the surrounding :p.

Coffee, tea or me :)

How cool is this? This la we can really call volley ball by the sea :)

Hidden gem in the island waiting to be explored, come visit them sometime and you may find this is your sanctuary. Besides that they have a lot to offer. Visit their website for more info.
